In the past time, villagers of Kuang Amo, a remote hamlet in the sub district of Moyo Hulu Sumbawa regency took weeks to reach Sumbawa Besar, They now take hours. Even Though the road leading there is still unpaved, rocky and dusty. And it become worse in rainy season.
The population in this hamlet is less than thousand people. The village located in a valley surrounded by mountainous area and green woods. no electricity here and there is only a low signal to get connected with other people out the area.

This hamlet become known as many heritage site from the era of Megalithic found there in the mountain of Tarakin.
The people of Kuang Amo still maintain their traditional way of life, as can be seen from their home construction that hundred percent using wood and bamboo.
Kuang Amo is one of several remote places are there in Sumbawa island, it is out off the map, off the beaten track, but the stunning natural beauty is recommended for Adventurous
