This trip takes you to see the wild, axtraordinary culture, heritage and landscape through exhilarating. Seeing all the amazing untouched beaches and nature around the South of the island of Sumbawa, exploring the uniqueness in both local cultures and heritages that almost not nurtured.
A Motorbike Journey that need 4 days 3 nights, giving you a chance to interact with the local. Sleep in their traditional house, and experiencing the local gastronomy.
A mountain lodge stay will be prepared for your second night, a nice trek to heritage of Aik Renung, Seeing the Amazing Megalithic Tombs, unique cave of Liang Petang, and magical view of Bat Cave in the Village of Batu tering with expert guide who will lead you the way. It is a kind of your new way in how you can experiencing the truly nature of Sumbawa, as well as its Culture, heritage and way of life of the communities.
A unique Water Buffalo Racing is another unique thing that can be seen along the journey, you will be amazed in seeing how man can have an amazing Balance in riding the Buffalo controlling two bullocks as they gallop towards a target called “SAKA” put by a man with Supernatural Powers called “SANDRO” at terrifying speeds.
This great Adventure start from Poto Tano harbor West Sumbawa, you will be picked up by our guide and lead you the way through the south coast of West Sumbawa, 3 hours riding to your first stop in Talonang Village, a remote place where you can see the Amazing nature and beaches. Overnight in a local house and you will be served in a very simple way with local food.
Journey proceed to Lunyuk, South Sumbawa Regency, 2 hours riding to another pristine beaches, the area of no hustle bustle. (Lunch in Lunyuk, at Simple Warung) Then heading to Batu Tering Village in another 3 hours. Staying in a mountain lodge, a wooden comfortable house nearby a peacefull and unique place of Bat Cave with nice river and natural pool below the wonderful cliff.
Day three
Trek to the Megalithic Tombs of Aik Renung, seeing the amazing heritage site from the era of Megalithic. This is one of the magnificent heritage are there in the island of Sumbawa. Afternoon time proceed to Liang Petang Cave, another unique Cave in the area of Batu tering village. Late afternoon back to the lodge
Day Four
Leave Batu Tering village, heading to Kakiang village in the Northern part of Sumbawa Besar, seeing the unique Stick Fighting called “KERACI” and Water Buffalo Race.
Afternoon time, heading back to Poto Tano harbor (West Sumbawa), take a ferry back to Lombok island.
